About me

I’m a seasoned User Experience designer who delivers solutions that consider various modes of input. In recent years I’ve spent my time designing for Cortana on the Windows platform, specifically the natural language tasks and productivity aspects of Cortana. I create UI that can be glanced at, but also supports complex tasks like setting an appointment, with voice and dialog design flows. My portfolio also  includes engagement, out of box experiences, opt-in, and monetization within an operating system. I’ve spent time focused on input for the Windows Desktop team adding touch, gesture, keyboard and mouse input to the modalities I design for, in addition to voice flows for the Cortana team.

Before working at Microsoft I art directed for various advertising campaigns and worked on projects with Panasonic, Microsoft Research and healthcare startups including HelloSmile and Qualaris.

I have a Masters of Design degree in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University. I also hold a BFA in Integrated Design from Parsons the New School for Design, and a BA in Psychology from Eugene Lang College, the New School for Liberal Arts. Both degrees were earned with Honors as a part of The New School’s competitive five-year BA/BFA program.
