How does Windows intuitively evolve existing touchpad gestures to accomodate new window management on the Desktop?

Full design ownership and early research

 

Research began with a design activity testing the comfort and ergonomics of possible gestures and evaluating what gestures would feel intuitive to users. Various touchpad sizes were considered due to a wide range of OEM manufacturing options for touchpads. After that, designs were scoped based on research and a consice set chosen for laptops with a precision touchpad. 

 

 

Results

Windows 10 "power users" delighted in touchpad gestures that increased their speed for window switching and performed well across devices.
